- Cooperates with international forwarding and shipping companies that send cargoes to Sakhalin Island to receive preliminary shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, air waybills etc.) and information of the cargo routing in advance.
- Preliminary checks and identifies arriving supplies and equipment after the information mentioned in Section 1 hereof and documentation have been received; finds out which supplies require additional permits of the State Authorities; checks the shipping documents for any possible mistake.
- Passes over proposals to the consignee or forwarding agent to make necessary corrections and changes in originals of the shiping documents.
- Determines how customs clearance is to be done and cargo to be delivered to the consignee; arranges in-house bonded transportation of the cargo.
- Obtains permits of the State Authorities (Gosstandard, Environmental Safety Department, Communications Department, Sanitary-Veterinary Service etc.) and Customs Authorities' permits for imported cargo status in advance.
- Prepares and presents the following processed paperwork to Customs upon the cargoes arrival (in-house bonded transportation documents, customs cargo declarations, customs value declarations, certificates and permits, original and translated invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills and additional documentation).
- Passes processed shipping documents through sub-divisions of the Customs Department.
- Performs customs inspections of shipments.
- Makes final clearance, cargo release and to-door delivery.
As Expediting agent “Eurasia Customs Service”:
- Tracks cargoes en-route.
- Controls transit time and cargo status.
- Arranges coordination and cooperation of all services related to cargoes movement (transportation, loading facilities, warehousing, Customs, Quarantine Service etc.)
- Presents complete information about cargo en-route including preparation of customs value declaration, bonded transit declaration, information on transportation method, carrier's name, date of documents submission for customs clearance,
- Provides information on dates of cargo release, customs documentation references, import/export status, destination point, dates of deliveries etc. to consignee or to the shipper.
